Michael Marquardt is a photographer and FAA-licensed drone pilot based in Northern Colorado. Originally from the Denver/Boulder area, Michael moved to Fort Collins in 2019 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University. Michael grew up with a camera in his hands, with his first experience using a DSLR in 2006 at just five years old; in 2017, he was gifted his own DSLR and set off to share the natural beauty of the state that he calls home. Michael currently works as a photographer for Rocky Mountain Student Media and as a pilot for the CSU Drone Center.
